The Auld Alliance Fiddlers Society was born from the collaboration of 3 lovers of traditional Scottish music. A music little represented today on French territory despite the existence of this Old Alliance dating from 1295, unifying the Scots with the French against the English invader.
We have two missions. The first being to promote the Scottish Fiddle tradition in France. Irish music, today, is widely practiced on French territory, and we want to introduce this Scottish repertoire which is incredibly rich and developed throughout the world by talented musicians. Our second mission is to make the experience as unforgettable as possible. We want this adventure to be musical but above all human, by promoting encounters between musicians and participants.
